Black Box by Will Wilson
This artist print was a present from our good friend Franklin Frey. He has known Will for a number of years, and on one of his trips back east to hang with the artist, he had him sign one of his artist prints to us for a Christmas present. Franklin was having the print framed at a local frame shop when a woman came in on a rainy Seattle day and set her wet packages down on the print ( to Franklin's total horror! ). It caused the smudge that is just to the right above the garlic. It makes the print less than perfect, but gives it that much more character.
Will's art is a mixture of dark and light and this work is a good representation of it. The detail in it is amazing, it's not easy to capture on a web image.
