Tele::Design Homepage
Tele::Design is my consulting company that I've use for contract work over the last decade.
The primary focus is the design of computer and telephone systems. I'm pretty busy these days, but
if you've got an idea that needs development, give me a shout.
Tele::Design Resources:
- A JavaScript Resistor Ratio Calculator - Back in the 80's, I wrote
a Turbo Pascal program to calculate resistor ratios for doing engineering designs. It was a pretty slick
command line utility. I still use it, but thought it would be cool to update it for the new millennium by
making it a JavaScript web page. That way I could use it from anybody's PC that had web access. It's my
first JavaScript program, and I like it. It's a lot quicker that I thought it would be.
- A handy 25 Pair Telephone Cable Chart - Just the thing when you can't
remember the wiring order of a 25-pair cable. I have to punch down cables so infrequently, that it
comes in handy when I'm in the field and need a quick reference. Here it is.
- The English Ringing Converter (ERC) Project - This was a fun project that
started out when I was working on an early VoIP phone system at a Paul Allen startup company.
